Forget the bar, internet dating is where it's at for meeting significant other

Women are foregoing the bar and church as the place to find love for online dating sites, at least that's according to a survey of 9,500 U.S. women conducted by Yahoo! Personals and theKnot.com. When asked how they met their mate the top choice was through friends followed by school, work and online dating.
Those who used online personals sites also started dating more quickly and got engaged sooner then their offline counterparts. And how many of the 9,500 women felt they were fated to meet their significant other? A whopping 78%.
