A blind date isn't a real blind date unless you're Dining in the Dark

Wondering where to take a girl on your next get-to-know-her-date? Why not make a reservation at Opaque Events for an unusual and unforgettable experience of eating in the dark? You won't have to worry about food getting stuck in your teeth or wine dribbling down your chin as you sit across from her. And you can at least sound fabulous without looking horror stricken thinking, geez, I can't believe I'm on another blind date.

Dining in the Dark is one of the latest trends in eating out that's come to the U.S. by way of Berlin, Paris and Vienna. Piqued your interest yet? Well, if you're in the Los Angeles area you are in luck, an Opaque Event takes place every weekend in West Hollywood at the Hyatt Hotel on the Sunset Strip. Who could ask for anything better than dinner with a blind date in pitch black darkness? While you may not be accustomed to the dark, rest assured that your wait staff will be very capable as they are either blind or visually impaired individuals

The cost of a dinner that you'll never see, but have to taste and trust is what you ordered, is $99 per person for a three-course meal of either fish, veggies, chicken, or beef, not including tip or drinks.
